Original proofs used to create a 52 card deck based on the four elements of the Pacific NW.  This Hearts suit of Salmon symbolize the Water element. Salmon migration in the Columbia River in Portland Oregon varies by species and can occur throughout the year, but the primary months of migration are from March through November.
